Estimate at completion

Estimate at completion (EAC) is actual cost to date plus cost to complete. It is the current best guess of what the whole job will cost when finished.

Worked example

A hypothetical parking structure shows $4,100,000 actual and $1,900,000 cost to complete. Estimate at completion is $6,000,000.
